Tom Cole has thirty years experience in the construction industry. He began working as a laborer, while still in high school. Being the son of a jeweler, Tom attended the Gemological Institute of America and became a gemologist. After working in the field as a gem broker for a year, Tom found that he missed the feeling of accomplishment that comes from working on a construction project. He returned to construction and thoroughly learned the trade from the ground up, progressing from carpenter to foremen to superintendent to sub-contractor. He has been running his own general contracting business for over 15 years, focusing on the renovation and restoration of older homes. Keeping his clients informed and engaged in the process is essential to him.
